How to play.

01The board
This is what you see when a match starts. 3 zones in the middle — Dead Zone, The Scar, and Genesis Core. Your cards are at the bottom, the bot is top-right. The top bar shows Turn, Bitszen (energy), and Glory (your reward for winning). The war zone rail on the left lets you switch the arena backdrop. On the right, the power bar under each portrait shows total strength across all zones.

02Deploy a card
Click a card in your hand, then click a zone to deploy it. Each card has a cost (left pip) and power (right pip). Here we deployed a card to The Scar — the score jumps to 0 vs 3 in our favour. The bot also deployed face-down cards (you can't see them until the reveal phase). You can deploy multiple cards per turn if you have enough Bitszen.

03Building up
Turn 2. More energy means more cards. The Scar now shows 3 vs 4 — we're pulling ahead. The bot deployed to the top right. Notice the SYNC button is now available — it's a bluff mechanic that doubles your Glory stakes. The battle log (bottom-right) tracks every deploy, ability, and score change.

04Early game
Turn 3. The board is taking shape. The Scar is at 4 vs 7 — we hold it. The bot stacked Genesis Core. See the two numbers next to each zone? Left is bot power, right is yours. The zone badge below tells you who's winning. Your total power is 11 vs the bot's 5. Draw cards arrive on turns 3 and 5 to keep your hand fresh.

05Mid game decisions
Turn 4. Now the decisions get real. Dead Zone: 6 vs 0 — bot leads. The Scar: 5 vs 11 — we hold. Genesis Core: contested. You only need 2 out of 3 zones to win. Dead Zone looks lost — don't waste cards there. Focus on holding The Scar and fighting for Genesis Core. Card abilities are firing — check the battle log for details.

06The final push
Turn 5. The board is nearly full. The Scar: 12 vs 16 — still ours. Genesis Core: 7 vs 17 — dominant. Dead Zone is lost at 6-0. Our total power is 33 vs bot's 25. This is when SYNC matters — if you're confident you'll win, press it to double your Glory. One more turn to go.

07Final turn
Turn 6 — last chance. Bot power surged to 47 vs our 45. The Scar flipped: 28 vs 22 — bot leads now! Genesis Core: 12 vs 23 — still ours. This is the tension of HSS — nothing is safe until the final resolve. Deploy your last cards wisely. After this turn, whoever holds 2 of 3 zones wins. Win or lose, you earn Glory and climb the leaderboard.

The goal.

You play against a bot. The board has 3 zones. You each place cards on the zones over 6 rounds. Whichever side has more total power on a zone wins that zone. Win 2 out of 3 zones and you win the game.

Your turn.

Every round you do 3 things:

(1) Click a card in your hand to pick it up.
(2) Click a zone to place it there.
(3) Click END TURN when you're done.

Each card costs energy to play. You start with 1 energy and get 1 more each round. Round 1 = 1 energy, Round 2 = 2, Round 3 = 3, and so on. You can't see what the bot plays until both sides are done.

Reading cards.

Every card has two numbers:

Power (top-left) = how strong it is. More power = better.
Cost (top-right) = how much energy you need to play it.

A card that costs 6 can't be played until round 6, because that's when you finally have 6 energy. Play cheap cards first, save the expensive ones for later.

How you win.

After 6 rounds, the game counts up the power on each zone. Your cards vs. the bot's cards. Whoever has more total power on a zone wins that zone.

There are 3 zones. Win 2 out of 3 and you win the match!

Each zone also has a special rule written under its name. Read it — it can change everything. For example, one zone makes all cards cost 1 less energy.

The elements.

Every card has an element (Fire, Water, Earth, etc). Some elements are strong against others — like rock-paper-scissors.

If your card is strong against an enemy card at the same zone, it gets +30% bonus power. If it's weak, it loses 20% power. Look for the colored icon on each card to see its element.

Card abilities.

Most cards have a special ability — a bonus power. Hover or tap any card to read what it does.

There are 3 types: On Reveal (happens once when the card is flipped), Passive (always active), and End of Turn (happens every round). Don't worry about memorizing them — the game shows you what each card does.

SYNC — the big bet.

SYNC is a side bet. Starting from round 2, you can press the SYNC button to double the reward if you win.

When you call SYNC, the bot has 3 choices: Accept (play for double), Counter (play for 4x!), or Retreat (you win instantly). Think of it like going "all in" in poker. Only do it when you think you're winning.

Tips to win.

Start on Easy. The bot makes mistakes so you can learn without getting crushed. Here are 4 things that will help you win.

TIP 01
CHEAP CARDS FIRST
On round 1 you only have 1 energy. Play cheap cards early (cost 1-2). Save your big heroes for rounds 5 and 6 when you have enough energy.
TIP 02
SPREAD OUT
Don't put all your cards on one zone. You need to win 2 out of 3 zones. If you stack everything on one, you give away the other two for free.
TIP 03
TAP THE CARDS
Tap or hover any card to read what it does. Some cards have powerful abilities that can flip an entire zone. Don't skip reading them.
TIP 04
YOU CAN UNDO
Placed a card on the wrong zone? Just click it again to take it back. Nothing is locked until you press END TURN.

YOUR PLAYER CODE

When you first play, you'll choose a name and get a short code (like VIVI-7K). Save it — that's your login across devices. Your wins, losses, and Glory are always tracked.

To appear on the Leaderboard, you'll need to verify: Agents must hold an AgentCert.io L3 NFT. Players need a Pentagon Games account. Without verification, you can still play and check your stats — just no public ranking.
